Spring Flirts With New York
2025 Exhibition of Chinese Fine Artists in New York
On a spring day touched by the Qingming breeze, twenty-six Chinese fine artists living in New York bring forth a quiet yet powerful awakening. Their works—paintings, sculptures, and visual meditations—do not shout but whisper of memory, form, and the timeless pull of beauty.
As art drifts further into the conceptual and virtual, this exhibition returns to the handmade, the seen, the felt. It is a gentle flirtation between season and city, tradition and now, homeland and elsewhere. Spring does not simply arrive here; it leans in, and New York listens.

“Light & Love” Charity Events
“Light and Love” is a heartfelt initiative presented by the Stonecube Art Association (SCAA). It combines the power of art and music to uplift, connect, and give back. Rooted in compassion and creativity, this event brings together renowned artist Stone Chun Shi and blind pianist Liu Hao for a special charity concert that supports visually impaired music students.
The event builds on the success of the 2023 “Light and Love” Charity Art Exhibition and Concert, which helped establish the Melodic Vision Scholarship at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Inspired by Liu Hao’s remarkable journey—from darkness to the concert stage—this scholarship aims to support future generations of blind musicians pursuing their artistic dreams.
On January 13, 2024, at Princeton Enmei Chinese Church, Stone and Liu will again join hands to perform. Through their collaboration, they share a message of resilience, hope, and the enduring light that art and music bring to our world.
This is not only a concert but a celebration of humanity’s ability to see with the heart, create with love, and give through beauty.
“The first time I saw Stone's work "Buddha's Smile," I was captivated. Despite my lack of understanding of art, the intricate artwork astonished me. At that moment, I thought such an excellent piece must be exhibited in Princeton to allow more people to see it. Coincidentally, I had established the Melodic Vision Scholarship at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and sought to raise funds through art events. Thus, I discussed it with the artist, and the "Light and Love" Charity Art Exhibition was born based on this idea.”

“The initial intention behind establishing the Stonecube Art Association was to support artists and harness the power of light and love. I am delighted that through this art charity exhibition, we can ignite people's compassion, providing young disabled artists with an opportunity to establish their careers and shape their futures, thereby illuminating the darkness in their lives.”

19 Howard Street
In June 2023, Stone Chun Shi started the "Art Saves the Space" project at 19 Howard Street in Lower Manhattan. Using his resources, he transformed an abandoned and graffiti-filled second-floor space into a suitable venue for art exhibitions, effectively saving the abandoned space through art.
Inspired by this, Stone Chun Shi decided to become the initiator, organizer, and operator of this project by establishing SCAA. All funds donated by organizations and individuals will be used to operate the "Art Saves Space" art project.
